Martin Prinoth
Martin Prinoth is a Hamburg based filmmaker, producer and cinematographer. After his BA degree in communication sciences at the University in Salzburg, he studied Film at the Academy of Fine Arts, Hamburg. His debut film The Fifth Point of the Compass receives several nominations and prizes at international film festivals. As a cinematographer, he combines a continuous collaboration with Arne Körner as well as collaborations on theater and opera with Nicolas Stemann, Ene-Liis Semper & Tiit Ojasoo and Mpumelelo P. Grootboom. In 2017 he receives the Gerd Ruge scholarship for documentary film. He was born in Bolzano, Italy.
